How to reindex Peachtree files
Abstract Sometimes, if Peachtree data becomes inaccessible we can recover the files by reindex the files. This document shows you the steps to reindex Peachtree files.
TIPS Steps to run integrity check and reindex files
Step 1 Close your Peachtree System and select run from Start menu
 
Step 2 Type "C:\Peachw\Peachw.exe -i" and press the button "Yes"; where "C:\Peachw" is the folder your Peachtree is located. Then, the Peachtree will run automatically
 
Step 3 Select the "Integrity check" from the FILE menu
 
Step 4 The message will remind you to backup your record, if it is necessary. Press the button "Backup" to make a copy of your data, or you can just press "continue" to ignore the message
 
Step 5 You will see another screen, tick the box "Reindex files" and select the files you want to reindex, then press OK. The process will takes a few minutes depending on the size of the files.
