| Abstract | Sometimes, if Peachtree data becomes inaccessible we can recover the files by reindex the files. This document shows you the steps to reindex Peachtree files. |
| TIPS | Steps to run integrity check and reindex files |
| Step 1 | Close your Peachtree System and select run from Start menu |

| Step 2 | Type "C:\Peachw\Peachw.exe -i" and press the button "Yes"; where "C:\Peachw" is the folder your Peachtree is located. Then, the Peachtree will run automatically |

| Step 3 | Select the "Integrity check" from the FILE menu |

| Step 4 | The message will remind you to backup your record, if it is necessary. Press the button "Backup" to make a copy of your data, or you can just press "continue" to ignore the message |

| Step 5 | You will see another screen, tick the box "Reindex files" and select the files you want to reindex, then press OK. The process will takes a few minutes depending on the size of the files. |
